Unit 2

While acting as Assistant Chief, Captain Brandon collapsed of an apparent heart attack while operating at the scene of a house fire at 2620 Alexander Avenue. After one trip up a ground ladder to inspect the attic area which was still issuing heat and smoke, he descended the ladder to catch a breath of fresh air. Brandon collapsed off of the ladder while making a second climb for further inspection.
